Posted in : UncategorizedStacey Lavallie is a journalist in northern Ontario. She currently works for Northern Life, as the online content co-ordinator, reporter, and catch-all kitchen sink. She updates the website, writes stories, and handles comment moderation.
Stacey studied journalism at Cambrian College in the early 2000s, before the online-world resulted in large changes for traditional media industries – newspapers, television, and radio.
Despite that, her enjoyment of the online ‘life’ has allowed her to remain up to date and current with online tools such as facebook, myspace, and twitter, making her a powerful addition to the Northern Life online team.
Stacey resides in Sudbury with her pet cat, Coda, within minutes of her workplace. This allows her to not contribute to pollution by not needing to use bus or vehicle transportation.
She has family all over Sudbury, southern Ontario, and Alberta. She plays World of Warcraft (For the Horde!), as well as some other text-based RP games.
